Wilma Oomen  – LL.B BSc.

Wilma commenced her legal career in Ballarat in 1986 and was so taken with the city and its surroundings that she has remained here since. As well as working in private practice, Wilma also worked at the Central Highlands Community Legal Centre between 1992 and 1999 where she was employed as the solicitor and community legal education worker. Wilma has been employed with Jeremy Harper & Associates since 2000 and works mainly in the areas of Family Law, the Family Division of the Children's Court and Victims of Crime.

Wilma is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Ballarat & District Law Association.

Wilma and her family live at Buninyong where they are active in the school and local community. Wilma has a keen interest in netball and although her playing days have ceased she remains involved in the Ballarat Netball Association in coaching and administrative positions.
